Keeneland

Keeneland is six miles west of Lexington.

Keeneland was not open for racing during World War II.  The first time sales were over $1,000 was in 1971.

Queen Elizabeth went to the races in1984.

Keeneland became a natural historic landmark in 1986.

In 1997 President Bush  attended Keeneland.
