Natural Bridge

In our research we found that Natural Bridge is about 320 million years old!!

Did you know that Natural Bridge is made of sandstone... almost all of it?  Wow!

Also, it is the most famous arch in the state. Natural  Bridge is in Powell County. It has been there for many, many  years &  is the focus of the Natural Bridge State Resort Park. Natural Bridge, the development of the narrow ridge, arch resulted from the processes of weathering, including the action of the water, ice,& roots that penetrated along joints and bedding planes in the sandstone. It  is located  in Red River Gorge. It is almost in the middle of Red River Gorge. The Gorge & Natural Bridge is in the Eastern Mt.& coal fields region.

If you go there you will always remember its beauty & its wonders.
